Sessions
The club plays twice a week at Smash Padel Oxford. Sessions are open to every member, at every standard, and are the centre of club life.
When
Wednesday and Thursday evenings during term. Exact times depend on court availability and are confirmed each week on Instagram and in the members' WhatsApp group.
Where
Smash Padel Oxford, North Hinksey: three floodlit outdoor courts a short cycle west of the city centre.
DirectionsHow a session works
Courts are booked by the club. On arrival you are put on a court with players of a similar standard, and a committee member runs the session. Padel is played in pairs, so you do not need to bring a partner or a group.
Racket hire is available at the venue. Bring trainers and sports kit. No experience is needed.
Box league
Through the term the club runs a box league. Players are grouped into boxes of similar standard and play one match a week, at a time arranged between themselves. Standings are updated through the term.
Who can come
Sessions are for members. New students can try a session first through the freshers taster; see Membership.
